I have a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.A. in Film Production from San Francisco State University. I’ve taught undergraduate film history and worked as a grunt in the arts non-profit world. I’ve spent ten years in Corporate Identity and Branding at an iconic computer company (you know the one) and I’ve done freelance work in publishing. I mention these things not because any one of them confers any special authority or expertise, but merely to explain how I got here. I’m currently a fundraiser and a parent and the owner of a wire fox terrier named Roger O. Thornhill. What I love most is watching and thinking and talking about movies.
